A Mother’s Experience
Seattle Sober Living has been an amazing place for our son. After in-patient treatment, SSL provided a safe place for him to return to school and transition to independent living.
For nine months, the director David Gould was a great support to both our son and to us as parents. He regularly checked in and provided updates which gave us peace of mind. David also helped guide us in appropriate ways to interact with our son during this time.
The positive habits and lifestyle that the Seattle Sober Living community cultivates – including regularly attending 12 step meetings and working with a sponsor – have given our son excellent tools for succeeding on his own. Our son has now transitioned into independent living and is a full-time college student. David continues to be a support to him in his recovery.
I cannot say enough good things about this program and would encourage anyone serious about recovery and looking for a healthy transitional living/sober housing situation to consider Seattle Sober Living.
