This year for Halloween the three SSL houses met up for fellowship and to enjoy a movie as a group at a local theater. Between recovery events, meetings and house sponsored activities we encourage connections with the entire SSL crew.
Many of our housemates come from around the country. We make a point to provide an environment where we all feel supported and engaged especially during the holidays which can be complicated to navigate in recovery. It is important to find healthy forms of recreation and relaxation, especially so with like minded people.
An ancillary benefit is watching your housemates jump out of their seats during jump scares (Looking at you, snake scene. The Exorcist 2023)
